Hobart Regional Airport is a publicly owned general aviation airport serving the city of Hobart and the surrounding Kiowa County area in southwestern Oklahoma. Opened in March 1943 and operated by the City of Hobart, it supports private, business and charter flying rather than scheduled commercial airline service.
Located about 3 miles southeast of central Hobart, the airport has two asphalt runways: the primary runway 17/35 at 5,507 feet and the shorter runway 3/21 at 2,975 feet. It operates without a control tower, using UNICOM communications and an AWOS weather station, and offers aviation fuel, aircraft parking, tiedowns and hangars.
The passenger terminal includes a lounge and basic facilities for arriving and departing private and charter travelers. Ground transportation is available by car, taxi or pre-arranged service, and the airport can help coordinate local transport with advance notice.
