About Hartsville Regional Airport
Hartsville Regional Airport is a city-owned public-use general aviation airport serving Hartsville and Darlington County in South Carolina's Pee Dee region. Opened in April 1959, it supports private, business and instructional aviation, including a busy flight school, rather than scheduled commercial airline service.
The airport is located about three miles northwest of downtown Hartsville, just off Lakeview Boulevard at Hartsville Airport Road. It features a single asphalt runway, Runway 3/21, which is 5,000 feet long and can accommodate a wide range of general aviation aircraft, along with hangars, tiedown parking and fuel services.
Passengers and pilots are served by an on-site FBO providing a passenger terminal and lounge, Wi-Fi, flight training, aircraft rental and other pilot amenities. The airport has no control tower, with pilots coordinating through the common traffic advisory frequency.
Because of its central location, the airport offers convenient road access to Hartsville and nearby communities such as Darlington and Florence, making it a practical gateway for private aviation travelers visiting the Pee Dee region.
