Glenwood Springs Municipal Airport is a general aviation airport serving the city of Glenwood Springs, Garfield County, and the wider Roaring Fork Valley in western Colorado. It provides access for private, business, and recreational aviation to one of Colorado's best-known mountain and hot springs destinations.
Located about three miles south of downtown Glenwood Springs, the airport sits at an elevation of roughly 5,916 feet and operates a single asphalt runway, 14/32, measuring about 3,305 feet. Owned by the City of Glenwood Springs, the airfield has been managed since May 2024 by the nonprofit KGWS Sumers Airpark.
The airport supports flight operations with an on-site fixed-base operator, self-serve 100LL and Jet A fuel, aircraft parking, hangar space, and aircraft maintenance. Passenger facilities include a pilot lounge, restrooms, showers, and Wi-Fi.
