About General Pico Airport
General Pico Airport is a regional airport serving General Pico in La Pampa Province, Argentina. It is located about 5 km south of the city centre and is operated by Aeropuertos Argentina 2000.
After more than a decade without scheduled commercial services, regular flights between General Pico and Buenos Aires Aeroparque resumed in October 2025 with American Jet. This restored an important air link for the northern Pampas and for travelers continuing to and from the Buenos Aires area.
The airport has a single asphalt runway and one compact passenger terminal that combines departures and arrivals. Passenger facilities are basic but functional, suited to the airport's regional role.
Because of its short distance from central General Pico, travelers can reach the city by taxi, private transfer, or rental car. The airport is also accessible by road from surrounding towns, making it a convenient local gateway for northern La Pampa.
