General Lucio Blanco International Airport is the main airport serving Reynosa and the surrounding border region in the state of Tamaulipas. Located near the Mexico–United States border, it connects the city with major domestic hubs and supports business and leisure travel in the area.
Operated by Grupo Aeroportuario Centro Norte (OMA), the airport opened a new terminal building in February 2021. The single passenger terminal covers about 7,500 square metres and provides 24 check-in counters, four boarding gates and improved passenger areas for arrivals and departures.
The airport lies roughly 10 km from central Reynosa. Travellers can reach the city by taxi, private transfer, rental car or other road transport, with travel times depending on traffic conditions.
