Gardner Municipal Airport is a public-use general aviation airport serving Gardner and the surrounding north central Massachusetts region. The airport opened in April 1940 and is owned by the City of Gardner, with the airfield located about 2 miles (3 km) southwest of downtown Gardner in Worcester County.
The airfield operates a single asphalt runway, Runway 18/36, measuring 3,001 by 60 feet, and has no control tower. Gardner Aviation Services acts as the on-site fixed-base operator, supplying 100LL aviation fuel, tiedown parking, and minor airframe and powerplant services for private and recreational aircraft.
Situated near Route 2, the airport lies roughly 30 miles north of Worcester and about 60 miles northwest of Boston, making it a practical access point for pilots travelling across central Massachusetts and southern New England. Road access is available by private car, taxi, rental car, or pre-arranged transfer.
