Formosa International Airport, also known as El Pucú Airport, is the main airport serving the city of Formosa and the surrounding province in northeastern Argentina. Opened in February 1968, it is located about 7 km south of central Formosa along National Route 11, close to the Paraguay River border.
The airport handles scheduled passenger services, mainly Aerolíneas Argentinas flights connecting Formosa with Buenos Aires. Although it is designated as an international airport, regular commercial traffic is primarily domestic.
The passenger terminal has been modernized in stages and offers check-in areas, security controls, arrivals and baggage claim facilities, waiting areas, food and drink outlets, shops and car rental services.
