Fontages Airport is a small private aerodrome in the Nord-du-Québec region of Quebec, Canada, serving the remote Fontanges area on the Caniapiscau Plateau. Operated by Hydro-Québec, it mainly supports company, charter and private flights carrying staff, contractors and supplies for hydroelectric operations in the James Bay territory.
The aerodrome is located about 6.9 km east of Fontanges, at an elevation of 1,550 feet. It has one gravel runway, 09/27, measuring approximately 4,890 by 150 feet, and use of the airfield requires prior permission. There are no scheduled commercial passenger services.
The airport is extremely remote: the nearest larger airfield and weather station is La Grande-4 Airport, roughly 100 nautical miles (about 185 km) to the west.
