About Flabob Airport
Flabob Airport is a small public-use general aviation airport serving Riverside, the Jurupa Valley area, and the wider Inland Empire of Southern California. Privately owned and open to the public, it has operated beside the Santa Ana River since the mid-1920s and is among California's oldest continuously operating airfields.
Located about three miles northwest of downtown Riverside in the Rubidoux area, the airport primarily supports private aviation, flight training, charter operations, and light aircraft. It has a single asphalt runway, Runway 6/24, and operates without a control tower.
Passenger services are modest and centered on the on-airport café and fixed-base operator facilities rather than commercial airline terminals. The airport provides general aviation fueling, aircraft parking, hangars, maintenance, and pilot amenities.
Because Flabob is a general aviation field, most scheduled airline passengers use nearby Ontario International Airport or San Bernardino International Airport. For private flights, the airport offers convenient road access to Riverside, Jurupa Valley, and surrounding communities by taxi, private transfer, rental car, or ride service.
