Eastern Slopes Regional Airport (FRY) is a public general aviation airport located about three miles southeast of Fryeburg in Oxford County, Maine, close to the New Hampshire border. The airport was created through joint legislation in Maine and New Hampshire in 1961 to serve the Mount Washington Valley and western Maine. The airport is owned by the Town of Fryeburg and overseen by the Eastern Slopes Regional Airport Authority. It has a single asphalt runway, Runway 14/32, measuring 4,200 feet, and serves private pilots, business aviation, flight training, emergency services, and tourism rather than scheduled airline flights. Located just off Maine Route 5, the airport provides convenient road access to Fryeburg and is roughly a 15–20 minute drive from North Conway, New Hampshire, a popular base for the White Mountains and Mount Washington Valley.
