About Eagle Air Park
Eagle Air Park is a small, privately owned general aviation airport serving Brazoria, Texas, and the surrounding Brazoria County area. Activated in February 1987, it operates as a private-use airfield for light aircraft rather than a commercial passenger airport.
The airport sits about 6 miles southwest of central Brazoria on roughly 16 acres, with a single turf runway (11/29) measuring 2,700 by 140 feet and an elevation of about 15 feet. It serves pilots and private aircraft in the Texas Gulf Coast region, near Lake Jackson, Angleton, Freeport, and Surfside Beach.
Eagle Air Park has no control tower or scheduled airline service, and the field is unattended. Pilots coordinate clearances with Houston Air Route Traffic Control Center, while weather reporting is available from nearby airports.
Road access connects the airfield to Brazoria, Lake Jackson, and State Highway 36, allowing private vehicles, taxis, and pre-arranged transfers to reach nearby towns and the wider Greater Houston area.
