Dunsmuir Municipal-Mott Airport is a public-use general aviation airport located about three miles north of Dunsmuir in Siskiyou County, Northern California. The airport was activated in May 1941 and originally built as an auxiliary airfield on the San Francisco–Seattle airway.
The facility serves private pilots and light aircraft in the upper Sacramento River canyon near Mount Shasta and the Shasta Cascade region. It operates with a single asphalt runway, 14/32, and does not handle scheduled commercial airline service.
The airport is close to the town of Dunsmuir and within convenient driving distance of Mount Shasta, Castle Crags State Park, Lake Shasta and the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. Access is primarily by private vehicle along nearby roads, with car rental, private transfers and taxis available for onward travel.
