Domingo Faustino Sarmiento Airport is the main airport serving San Juan, the capital of San Juan Province in western Argentina. Originally inaugurated in 1981, the airport received a major modernization and expansion, with its renovated passenger terminal opening in December 2025.
The airport is located in Las Chacritas, in the 9 de Julio Department, about 12 km east of central San Juan and accessible via National Route 20. Its single terminal includes check-in counters, two boarding bridges, two baggage carousels, commercial and dining areas, and parking.
