Dipolog Airport is the main airport serving Dipolog City, the capital of Zamboanga del Norte, and the surrounding region of northwestern Mindanao. Located in Barangay Minaog about 2 km from the city centre, it provides convenient access for both business and leisure travellers.
The airport's aviation history dates back to 1941, when a small airstrip was opened shortly before the Second World War. It was restored and expanded in 1947, the runway was concreted and widened in 1974, and a new terminal building was completed in 1980.
Operated by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, Dipolog Airport has a single passenger terminal and a 1,912-metre concrete runway. It handles regular domestic flights to Manila and Cebu, making it a practical entry point for travellers visiting the Zamboanga Peninsula and destinations such as Dapitan and Dakak Park and Beach Resort.
