About Destin Executive Airport
Destin Executive Airport is a general aviation airport owned and operated by Okaloosa County and located along Highway 98 in Destin, Florida. First used by aircraft in 1961, it has grown into a key aviation resource for the Emerald Coast, handling private, corporate and charter traffic near the region’s Gulf beaches.
The airport has a single 5,001-foot asphalt runway (14/32) with a full-length parallel taxiway and an air traffic control tower that began operations in 2017. It functions as a general aviation reliever in an area with substantial military flight activity and serves business and leisure travelers arriving by private aircraft.
Located roughly two miles east of downtown Destin, DSI places passengers within minutes of Destin’s city center, HarborWalk Village and the beaches along the Gulf of Mexico. Ground transportation is available by private transfer, taxi, rental car or rideshare, with direct road access along Highway 98.
On-site facilities include a full-service FBO terminal with passenger lounge, fueling, hangar storage, aircraft maintenance and concierge support for ground transportation, catering and local reservations. This makes the airport a convenient arrival point for visitors heading to Miramar Beach, Sandestin, Santa Rosa Beach and the communities along 30A.
