Dera Ismail Khan Airport is a domestic airport serving Dera Ismail Khan, a city in the southern part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It lies about 10 km from the city centre near Chashma Road and provides an air link for the surrounding districts.
The airport was closed in the early 2000s following security concerns and remained shut for about six years. It reopened in 2008 after repairs to the runway and terminal building, with Pakistan International Airlines operating flights between Dera Ismail Khan and Islamabad via Peshawar.
The facility has a single asphalt runway designated 12/30, measuring about 5,000 ft (1,524 m), and one passenger terminal building. The airport is currently inactive, while work on redevelopment and a planned new international airport continues.
