Decatur County Industrial Air Park (BGE)

Decatur County Industrial Air Park is a publicly owned general aviation airport serving Bainbridge and Decatur County in southwest Georgia. The airfield opened in 1942 and today supports private, business, charter and flight training operations rather than scheduled airline service.

Located about six miles northwest of downtown Bainbridge, the airport provides convenient access to the city, Lake Seminole and the wider tri-state area near the Florida and Alabama borders. It operates two asphalt runways—the primary instrument runway 9/27 and a second runway 14/32—along with hangars, apron parking and fueling.

Ground access is by car, taxi, rental car or private transfer, since the airport sits in a largely rural area without rail service. Travelers can reach downtown Bainbridge in roughly 10 to 15 minutes under normal road conditions.

An on-site fixed-base operator provides a passenger terminal and lounge, aircraft parking, hangars and fueling with 100LL and Jet-A. These facilities make the airfield a practical entry point for business aviation and for visitors arriving in the Lake Seminole region.
