Coronel FAP Carlos Ciriani Santa Rosa International Airport is the main airport serving Tacna and the wider Tacna region in southern Peru. It began operations on 28 August 1956, replacing the former Tacna aerodrome, and has since become the region's principal air gateway.
The airport is located about 5 km from central Tacna, close to Peru's border with Chile. It is administered by Aeropuertos Andinos del Perú and provides regular domestic connections to Lima operated by LATAM Perú and Sky Airline Perú. In September 2014, remodelling works were completed that expanded the terminal, boarding and waiting areas and rehabilitated the runway.
Passenger services are concentrated in a single terminal with check-in, security, arrivals, shops and dining in one complex. Facilities include a VIP lounge, restaurants, cafés, duty-free retail, free Wi-Fi, charging points and accessibility services.
