About Columbia Regional Airport
Columbia Regional Airport is the main commercial gateway for Columbia, Missouri, and the surrounding mid-Missouri region. Owned and operated by the City of Columbia, it supports scheduled airline service as well as general and private aviation.
A new 52,000-square-foot passenger terminal opened in October 2022, replacing the previous facility with a larger lobby, expanded security screening, four gates and passenger boarding bridges. American Airlines, United Airlines and Allegiant currently provide nonstop and connecting flights to hub and leisure destinations.
The airport is located roughly 10 miles (16 km) southeast of downtown Columbia, near Highway 63 and the I-70 corridor. Travelers can reach the city centre by taxi, rideshare, rental car, private transfer or pre-arranged shuttle; public rail service is not available.
Free on-site parking, a compact single-terminal layout, a post-security market and quick check-in make the airport a convenient starting point for trips from central Missouri.
