About Clearwater Air Park
Clearwater Air Park is a city-owned public-use general aviation airport serving Clearwater, Pinellas County and the Tampa Bay area on Florida's Gulf Coast. Located about three miles northeast of downtown Clearwater, it provides an alternative gateway for private, charter and business aviation away from the region's larger commercial airports.
The airport occupies a 47-acre site and features a single asphalt runway, 16/34, measuring 4,108 feet by 75 feet, with a parallel taxiway. Operations run daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., and the FlyUSA fixed-base operator supports fueling, aircraft parking, hangars and flight training. A new, larger terminal building is planned to expand pilot and passenger facilities.
Its location near US 19, State Road 60 and the Courtney Campbell Causeway provides convenient road access to downtown Clearwater, Clearwater Beach, St. Petersburg and Tampa, while also connecting to the wider Tampa Bay transportation network.
With general aviation services, charter support and a central Pinellas County position, the airport functions as a convenient gateway for private and business travelers visiting the Gulf Coast.
