Chișinău International Airport is the main and largest airport of Moldova, serving the capital and the country's main international gateway. It lies about 13 km southeast of central Chișinău.
The current passenger terminal dates from the 1970s and was renovated in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Later modernization works extended and rebuilt the departures and arrivals areas, and in January 2024 the airport's IATA code changed from KIV to RMO.
The airport operates a single main passenger terminal, supported by Express and official delegation facilities. Transport connections include trolleybus route 30, taxis, ride-hailing services, private transfers, car rental and road access via Dacia Boulevard.
