Chan Gurney Municipal Airport is a public regional airport serving Yankton, South Dakota, and the surrounding Yankton County area. The airport developed during World War II and was dedicated in 1943 as part of a naval cadet pilot training effort; it was later renamed Chan Gurney Municipal Airport in 1965, and the terminal building was completed in 1971.
Located about three miles north of central Yankton, the airport primarily supports general aviation, private, charter and corporate flights. It has two runways and a single terminal building, and it does not currently offer scheduled commercial airline service.
