About Cesar Lim Rodriguez Airport
Cesar Lim Rodriguez Airport is a small public airport serving Taytay and the northern part of Palawan. It is named after Taytay native Cesar Lim Rodriguez, a former judge who donated part of his property for the facility, and is owned by the province of Palawan.
The airport is located in Barangay Sandoval, about 36 km north of Taytay town proper and roughly 19 km from El Nido. Its position makes it a practical access point for northern Palawan's coastal resorts, including Apulit Island, as well as the historic town of Taytay.
The airfield has a single concrete runway of about 1,100 meters, which was concreted under a 2013 improvement program. It handles domestic flights, including short-haul services to Puerto Princesa, the provincial capital located approximately 230 km to the south.
Onward travel is mainly by road, with vans, tricycles and private transfers connecting the airport to Taytay, El Nido, resort piers and other destinations along the northern Palawan coast.
