Centennial Airport is the primary general aviation airport serving the Denver metropolitan area and Colorado's Front Range. Founded in 1968 as Arapahoe County Airport, it is owned by the Arapahoe County Public Airport Authority and ranks among the busiest general aviation airports in the United States.
Located in Englewood, about 15 miles southeast of downtown Denver, the airport serves private, business and charter aviation rather than scheduled commercial passenger flights.
