About Capital Region International Airport

Capital Region International Airport is the main commercial airport serving Lansing, Michigan's state capital, and the wider mid-Michigan region. It provides a compact, single-terminal experience with nonstop flights to major U.S. hubs and seasonal international destinations.

The current passenger terminal opened in 1959 and was expanded in 1992. The airport has nine gates and one concourse, handling both domestic and international arrivals within the same terminal building. It is located about 3 miles (5 km) northwest of downtown Lansing in DeWitt Township.

LAN offers nonstop domestic flights to Detroit, Chicago, Washington D.C., Orlando and Fort Myers, connecting travelers to hubs across the country. Seasonal international flights serve vacation destinations such as Cancun, Punta Cana and Los Cabos.
