Located about 3 miles southeast of downtown Hamilton, the airport sits minutes from I-75 and offers convenient access to Fairfield, West Chester, Middletown, and the wider Greater Cincinnati and Dayton areas.
The airport traces its history to 1929, when it was established as Hamilton Airport. The Hogan family operated and improved the field for more than 50 years, lengthening the runway, adding hangars, and installing lighting and navigation equipment before the facility became known as Butler County Regional Airport - Hogan Field.
Today the airport features a single 5,500-foot asphalt runway (12/30) with a full-length parallel taxiway, plus T-hangars and corporate/executive hangars. It supports general aviation, corporate, charter, and flight training activity through the on-site fixed-base operator, Cincinnati Jet Center.
Because it is a general aviation airport, Hogan Field does not offer scheduled airline service. Travelers can continue to Hamilton and surrounding communities by private transfer, chauffeur, rental car, or group transportation, with the airport's location near I-75 making onward road travel straightforward.
