About Brunswick Executive Airport
Brunswick Executive Airport (NHZ) is a public-use general aviation airport serving the town of Brunswick and Maine's Mid-Coast region. Opened in 2011 on the site of the former Naval Air Station Brunswick, the airport supports private, corporate, charter and general aviation operations.
Located about two miles southeast of central Brunswick in Cumberland County, the airport provides convenient access to Bath, Freeport, Boothbay Harbor, the Casco Bay area and Portland. Its long runways and on-site fixed-base operator make it a practical gateway for business and leisure travelers visiting coastal Maine.
The airport operates through a single air terminal building that was renovated from the former Navy Air Operations Building. Facilities include an FBO passenger lounge, fueling services, hangars, aircraft maintenance and ground transportation options.
Brunswick Executive Airport is managed by the Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority and is connected to the region by Route 1 and other local roads, with rental cars, taxis and pre-arranged transfers available for onward travel.
