About Bowman Regional Airport
Bowman Regional Airport is a public general aviation airport serving Bowman and Bowman County in southwestern North Dakota. It opened in 2015 as a newly constructed replacement for the former Bowman Municipal Airport and supports private pilots, business aviation, agricultural operators and emergency medical flights.
Located about four miles east of downtown Bowman and just south of U.S. Highway 12, the airport is owned by the Bowman County Airport Authority. Its single 5,700-foot by 75-foot grooved concrete runway is supported by an apron, hangars, tiedowns and a compact terminal building with a pilot lounge.
The on-site FBO, Bottom Line Aviation, provides fuel, aircraft maintenance and other services, and a courtesy car is available for short trips into town. There is no scheduled airline service, so the airport functions primarily as a convenient general aviation gateway for the region.
With easy highway access and modern facilities, the airport supports local businesses, agriculture and emergency services while offering a straightforward arrival point for travelers visiting southwestern North Dakota.
