Bowerman Airport is a public general aviation airport serving Hoquiam and the Grays Harbor region on Washington's Pacific coast. It began as a military installation during World War II and was later renamed Bowerman Field, with the Port of Grays Harbor taking ownership in 1962.
Located about two miles west of downtown Hoquiam, the airport is the only jet-capable facility on Washington's Pacific coast and supports private, corporate and charter flying, along with air freight activity important to local businesses.
The airfield has a single 5,000-foot asphalt runway and a compact terminal area with fuel, tiedown parking and pilot facilities. Road connections make it easy to reach Hoquiam, Aberdeen and nearby coastal communities such as Ocean Shores and Westport.
