Bíldudalur Airport is a small regional airfield serving the village of Bíldudalur and the surrounding southern Westfjords of Iceland. Operated by Isavia, it is located about 5 km south-east of the village in the Vesturbyggð municipality and provides an important domestic air link for this remote coastal region.
The airport has a single asphalt runway and a compact passenger terminal that combines arrivals and departures. Norlandair operates scheduled flights between Bíldudalur and Reykjavík Airport, generally once a day except Saturdays, with a flight time of around 40 minutes.
Despite its small size, the airport offers practical onward connections, including a Hertz car rental desk, parking and scheduled shuttle services to Tálknafjörður and Patreksfjörður in connection with flights. Taxis are available on request from the terminal area.
