Bancasi Airport is the principal domestic airport serving Butuan City and the province of Agusan del Norte in the Caraga region of northeastern Mindanao. Classified as a Principal Class 1 airport by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, it connects the region with key Philippine destinations and mainly handles Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines flights.
Located in Barangay Bancasi, roughly 7 km west of Butuan's city centre, the airport has a single passenger terminal. The terminal was expanded and reopened in March 2023, increasing passenger capacity from 248 to 616 and terminal floor space from 1,440 to 2,016 square metres; its 2.1-kilometre runway was rehabilitated and inaugurated in 2021.
From the airport, travellers can reach downtown Butuan and nearby areas by taxi, private transfer or local transport. The short distance to the city keeps onward journeys convenient for both leisure and business visitors.
