Anthony Municipal Airport (ANY)

Anthony Municipal Airport is a small city-owned public-use airport serving Anthony, Kansas, and the surrounding Harper County area in south-central Kansas. Opened in 1941, it primarily supports general aviation, including private, business, and recreational flying, rather than scheduled airline service. The airport is located about three miles (five kilometres) northwest of the central business district of Anthony. It covers roughly 340 acres and operates two runways: a 5,002-foot concrete runway (18/36) and a shorter 2,212-foot turf runway (10/28), with no control tower. Facilities are focused on general aviation needs, including self-service 100LL fuel, hangars and tiedowns for parking, an automated weather station, and FBO/aircraft services. Access is by road, and Anthony is the closest town for fuel, lodging, and onward travel. Wichita, the largest city in the region, lies roughly 50 miles (80 kilometres) to the northeast, making the airport a convenient local airfield for pilots travelling across south-central Kansas.
