About the Event

Glastonbury Festival 2027 returns to Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset, from Wednesday 23 June to Sunday 27 June 2027, following a fallow year in 2026 that allowed the land and the team to rest. As one of the world's best-known music and performing arts events, it combines headline concerts with theatre, circus, comedy, talks, film and family entertainment across a temporary festival city in the Somerset countryside.

The event is built around a programme of more than 4,000 performances across over 100 stages and performance spaces. The Pyramid Stage remains the most high-profile platform, while areas such as the Other Stage, Silver Hayes, West Holts, the Park and the Acoustic stage give visitors a wide range of musical styles. Beyond the main music fields, the Green Fields, the Theatre and Circus fields and the Kidzfield add craft, healing, workshops and children's entertainment.

The 2027 music line-up is still being revealed, but organisers have confirmed that all three headline acts have been booked. Emily Eavis, the festival's co-organiser, has ruled out Madonna and Oasis for the top slots, while the previous edition in 2025 was headlined by The 1975, Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo, with Rod Stewart in the legends slot. The full line-up announcement is expected ahead of the event.

Visitors also come for the areas that stay active after dark. The South East Corner, including Shangri-La, The Common, Unfairground and Block9, is known for late-night music, art installations and immersive environments, while Glasto Latino offers Latin music and dance through the night. These spaces complement the daytime stages and help give the festival its distinct, multi-layered character.

Tickets for the 2027 edition cost £408 including a £5 booking fee, with a £100 deposit required at the time of booking and the remaining balance payable in early April 2027. Entry includes five nights of camping, a free programme and mobile app, phone charging, and access to the Kidzfield. Tickets are sold only through the festival's official registration and booking system, and each ticket carries the holder's photograph. Around 200,000 people are expected to attend, with further tickets made available in a spring 2027 resale of any cancelled or returned bookings.

The festival supports Oxfam, Greenpeace and WaterAid, among many other causes, and gives more than £3 million to charity each year. Attendees range from families with young children to music fans and industry professionals from across the United Kingdom and around the world, drawn by the scale of the programme, the rural setting and the festival's long-standing role in British cultural life.
