About the Event
Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is one of the world's most influential music and arts festivals, produced by Goldenvoice. The 2027 edition returns to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, with two identical three-day weekends on April 9–11 and April 16–18, 2027.
The festival brings together a large international audience of music fans, with programming spanning pop, rock, hip-hop, electronic and Latin music. In early September 2026, industry reports indicated that Tame Impala and Dua Lipa were expected to headline, Fred again.. was tipped for the festival's dance-music slot, and BTS, SZA, Oasis and Radiohead were among the artists discussed for major positions. The official lineup had not yet been announced.
Performances take place across several stages and tents on the polo grounds, including the large Coachella Stage, the Outdoor Theatre and the Sahara tent. This structure gives attendees a mix of headline sets, emerging-artist showcases and dance-focused programming throughout each day.
Beyond music, the event is known for its large-scale art installations, sculptures and design features spread across the festival site. Visitors can explore interactive artwork and desert architecture that have made Coachella a reference point for festival art worldwide.
On-site camping is a central part of the experience, with options ranging from car camping to premium packages, alongside food vendors, water refill stations and a temporary festival village. Shuttle services, parking and nearby hotel packages support visitors traveling from outside the Coachella Valley.
Advance passes went on sale on May 1, 2026 and sold out quickly. Three-day general admission passes started at $599 for Weekend 1 and $549 for Weekend 2, with VIP passes starting at $1,299 and $1,249, and payment plans were offered. A long-term YouTube livestream partnership extends the festival to viewers around the world.
