About Wrigley Airport
Wrigley Airport is a small community airport serving Wrigley and the Dehcho region of the Northwest Territories, Canada. Located a short distance from the community, it supports charter flights, general aviation and essential access for travelers in the Mackenzie Valley.
The airport has a single gravel runway, Runway 11/29, approximately 3,500 feet long, and a compact apron area rather than a large passenger terminal. It primarily handles small aircraft, private flights and charter operations serving the community and nearby Mackenzie Valley destinations.
Wrigley is reached by air and by road via Highway 1, and the airport sits roughly 5 km from the settlement. Ground transportation is limited, so visitors normally arrange a local vehicle, transfer or rental car in advance, particularly when continuing to Fort Simpson or other regional destinations.
Because it is a small northern airport, passenger facilities are limited and services depend on flight and operator arrangements. Travelers should confirm check-in, security and ground transport details before departure.
