Wairoa Airport is a small regional aerodrome serving the town of Wairoa and the wider Hawke's Bay and East Coast region on New Zealand's North Island. Located at the end of Airport Road on the northern edge of Wairoa township, it sits roughly two kilometres from the town centre and provides a convenient local air link between Napier and Gisborne.
The airport is operated by Wairoa District Council and features a 914-metre sealed runway with pilot-activated lighting, set within a longer grass strip used by light aircraft and helicopters. It is used daily by emergency services, agricultural and general aviation operators, and it hosts the Wairoa Aero Club, with JET A1 fuel available on-site.
A single small terminal building at the aero club handles check-in and passenger movements, while free parking is available nearby.
