About Treasure Cay Airport
Treasure Cay Airport is a small public airport serving Treasure Cay, a resort community on Great Abaco in the northern Bahamas. The airport has a single asphalt runway and functions as a gateway for private aviation and regional travel to the Abaco Islands.
Located about 11 km (7 miles) northwest of the Treasure Cay settlement, the airport provides access to Treasure Cay Beach and the ferry connection to Green Turtle Cay, and is also used by travelers continuing to Marsh Harbour and other Abaco settlements.
The airport's original terminal was destroyed by Hurricane Dorian in September 2019, and the facility has since operated with temporary arrangements while a new terminal is planned under the Family Islands Airports Renaissance Programme.
Passengers can reach the airport by taxi, private transfer or rental car, with the main road to Marsh Harbour providing onward connections across Great Abaco.
