Tjilik Riwut Airport is the main airport serving Palangka Raya, the capital of Central Kalimantan on the Indonesian island of Borneo. Formerly known as Panarung Airport, it connects the provincial capital with key domestic destinations and is an important transport hub for the region.
The airport was modernised with a new passenger terminal that opened in 2019. The terminal covers about 29,124 square metres and has capacity for roughly 4.4 million passengers per year, providing more space and better facilities than the previous terminal building.
The airport lies about 4 km west of the Palangka Raya city centre and is typically reachable by taxi, ride-hailing services or private transfer in around 15–20 minutes, depending on traffic.
