Tifalmin Airport (TFB) is a small domestic airstrip serving Tifalmin in the Telefomin District of Sandaun Province, Papua New Guinea. It provides an important air link for one of the country's more remote highland communities, where road access has historically been limited and small aircraft remain vital for passengers, supplies and medical travel.
The airstrip lies close to Tifalmin village at an elevation of about 1,443 m (4,735 ft). It operates a single unlit runway, 08/26, measuring approximately 650 m by 30 m with a grass and gravel surface, and is suited to small aircraft and charter operations rather than large commercial jets.
In recent years the area has gained better road access through the Tabubil–Telefomin road network, including the road to Tifalmin, improving connections toward Tabubil and Telefomin. Many travelers still combine flights with pre-arranged road transport.
