Qikiqtarjuaq Airport (YVM)

Qikiqtarjuaq Airport is the public airport serving the hamlet of Qikiqtarjuaq on Broughton Island in Nunavut, Canada. Operated by the Government of Nunavut, it provides the community's primary year-round air connection to the rest of the territory, since no roads link Nunavut's communities.

Located about 1 km southwest of the hamlet, the airport features a single gravel runway and one compact passenger terminal. Scheduled flights operated by Canadian North connect Qikiqtarjuaq with Iqaluit, Pangnirtung and other points across the region, making it an essential link for residents, visitors and cargo.

There is no taxi service in the community, so travelers typically reach the airport by local vehicle pickup or on foot, with the short distance making the hamlet easy to access. The airport is also a known stop for pilots ferrying turboprop aircraft between Canada and Europe, thanks to its position close to Greenland.
