About Osijek Airport
Osijek Airport is the main airport serving Osijek and the surrounding Slavonia and Baranja region of eastern Croatia. Opened in 1980 near the village of Klisa, it functions as a regional gateway for domestic connections and a limited number of international routes.
Located about 20 km southeast of central Osijek, the airport has a single passenger terminal that is being expanded and modernised to improve passenger flow and separate Schengen and non-Schengen traffic. It mainly handles scheduled and seasonal services, including connections to Zagreb and a small number of European destinations.
The airport is reached by road via the D2 state road, with local bus services, taxis, private transfers and car rental providing onward travel to the city centre and nearby towns such as Vukovar and Đakovo.
Although compact, Osijek Airport provides essential passenger facilities including check-in desks, a self-service kiosk, security screening, seating and a sales point, with further terminal upgrades in progress.
