About Middle Caicos Airport
Middle Caicos Airport is a small airstrip serving Middle Caicos, the largest island in the Turks and Caicos Islands, near the settlement of Conch Bar. The airport has a single surfaced runway and one small terminal building, and has been nominally renamed the Eric Arthur Airport, although the name Middle Caicos Airport remains in common use.
The airport currently has no scheduled flights and no operating emergency services. Scheduled domestic air services to Middle Caicos were discontinued after the introduction of the passenger ferry from Providenciales and the construction of the North Caicos causeway reduced demand for local flights; charter and domestic flights to the two islands now use North Caicos Airport.
Situated in the centre of the island, the airport is close to Conch Bar and nearby attractions including the Conch Bar Caves and the Caicos Pine Yard Trail. A small café, Dillion's Café, serves snacks and cold drinks inside the terminal building, and free car parking is available.
Travelers reaching Middle Caicos generally arrive by road across the causeway from North Caicos or continue from Providenciales by ferry, with local roads providing access to the island's settlements and coastal areas.
