Malikus Saleh Airport is a small domestic airport serving Lhokseumawe and North Aceh Regency in Indonesia's Aceh province. Located in Pinto Makmur, Muara Batu, it functions as a regional gateway connecting the area to Medan and onward domestic destinations.
The airport was built by PT Arun NGL beginning in 1973 and opened in 1985 to support travel between the Lhokseumawe area and Medan. It operates a single paved runway of about 1,850 metres and a compact passenger terminal handling domestic flights, with airlines such as Citilink and Wings Air operating the Medan route.
Located around 30 kilometres from central Lhokseumawe, the airport is reached mainly by road via taxi, motorbike taxi, minibus or pre-arranged private transfers, with travel times varying according to traffic.
