About Lublin Airport
Lublin Airport is the main international airport serving Lublin and the wider Lubelskie region in eastern Poland. Opened on 17 December 2012, it was developed on a former military airfield in Świdnik and has since become a compact, modern gateway for domestic and international travel.
The airport is located about 10 km east of Lublin city centre and operates a single passenger terminal. Following a 2019 expansion of the departures hall, the terminal provides separate Schengen and non-Schengen departure areas, check-in and security facilities, and passenger services under one roof.
Transport links to Lublin include a direct rail connection to Lublin Główny station, municipal bus line 5, taxis, private transfers and car rental, with 465 parking spaces available at the terminal. The rail journey to the city centre takes around 16 minutes, making onward travel relatively simple.
