Les Sables-d'Olonne Talmont Airport is a small civil aerodrome serving the coastal town of Les Sables-d'Olonne and the surrounding Vendée region. Created in 1924, it is regarded as the oldest aerodrome in Vendée and remains focused on leisure flying, light aviation and tourism.
Located about 5 km southeast of central Les Sables-d'Olonne, the aerodrome provides an air gateway to the Atlantic coast and nearby islands. It operates two east-west runways, one asphalted and one grass, and since 2017 has also supported a seasonal passenger connection to the Île d'Yeu operated by a private airline.
The aerodrome is easily reached by road, with taxis and private transfers providing the short connection to the town centre, the port and the surrounding beach resorts.
Although compact, it offers useful facilities including parking, refuelling and hangars, and a local flying club offers flight training and discovery flights along the Vendée coastline.
