About the Event
The Paris International Agricultural Show returns for its 63rd edition from 27 February to 7 March 2027 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Organised around four themed universes, the event brings together the full breadth of French agriculture and food production, from livestock breeding and field crops to regional gastronomy, agricultural services and careers. It is France's leading agricultural gathering and one of the most visited farm and food events in the world.
The livestock universe remains the heart of the show, with around 4,000 animals displayed across five Concours Général Agricole show rings. Cattle, sheep, goats and pigs are presented in Hall 1, horses and donkeys in Hall 6, and the dog and cat sectors in Hall 7.3. The crops and plant sector occupies Hall 4, while the garden and vegetable patch area is located in Hall 7.3. The services and agricultural professions universe is based in Halls 5.1 and 5.2 and features the returning educational farm.
One of the event's most distinctive features is the Concours Général Agricole, a long-running competition that selects and rewards France's best breeding animals, regional products and wines. Animal competitions showcase seven species, while the product and wine contest spans 33 categories and culminates in medal awards during the show. Dedicated contests for young professionals, including livestock judging and wine tasting, support the next generation of agricultural talent.
For the 2027 edition, the Republic of Serbia is the featured country of honour, offering visitors a closer look at Serbian agriculture and food culture. The show's traditional mascot cow, a Ferrandaise, also returns to symbolise the comeback of cattle and mark the 2027 edition.
The event attracts a broad audience, from families and food enthusiasts to breeders, farmers, producers, industry suppliers and public institutions. In 2027 the professional visitor pathway merges with SIA'PRO, giving trade visitors access to dedicated services, networking spaces and sector-focused programming across the show.
Visitors can watch live animal presentations, taste and buy regional and international products, discover innovations in biosourced materials and agricultural technology, and explore family-friendly spaces such as the educational farm, the goat house and the milking parlour. The 2026 edition drew 437,402 visitors and 1,146 exhibitors from 28 countries, underlining the show's broad national and international reach.
