About Kili Airport
Kili Airport is a small domestic airfield serving Kili Island in the Republic of the Marshall Islands. The island has been home to part of the Bikini Atoll community since its relocation in 1948, and the airport provides an essential air link for passengers, mail and supplies between Kili Island and Majuro.
The airport has a single coral-surfaced runway and a basic open-air terminal that handles arrivals and departures. Scheduled domestic flights, mainly operated by Air Marshall Islands, connect Kili with Amata Kabua International Airport in Majuro, the capital, which is roughly 278 km away by air.
Facilities at the airfield are minimal, with basic seating and shelter but no formal shops, restaurants, lounges or public transport terminal. Ground movement on the island is mostly by walking or locally arranged transport, so visitors are encouraged to plan arrival details in advance.
Because Kili is a remote outer island, operations are generally limited to daylight hours and can be affected by tropical weather. Despite its small size, the airport remains an important gateway for the local community and for travelers visiting this part of the Marshall Islands.
