Jasper Airport is a small grass-strip airfield located about 13 km north of Jasper townsite within Jasper National Park, Alberta. Rather than serving scheduled commercial flights, it supports private and recreational aviation, emergency access, and occasional diversion operations in a protected mountain setting.
The airfield has a single turf runway, Runway 13/31, measuring approximately 3,990 feet by 150 feet at an elevation of about 3,350 feet above sea level. Use is limited to light aircraft, and visiting pilots must follow Jasper National Park's aircraft access rules and self-registration requirements.
There is no developed passenger terminal, fuel service, or scheduled airline operation at Jasper Airport. Travelers continue to Jasper townsite and nearby Rocky Mountain destinations such as the Icefields Parkway by private vehicle, taxi, or pre-arranged road transport.
