About Jaluit Airport
Jaluit Airport is a small public-use airstrip serving Jabor and Jaluit Atoll in the Republic of the Marshall Islands. It is used mainly for domestic Air Marshall Islands flights, connecting the atoll with Majuro and other outer-island communities such as Mili.
Located about 2 km southeast of Jabor, the airport has a single coral and gravel runway, designated 03/21, and one compact passenger terminal. The facility is operated as a basic outer-island airstrip and does not have a control tower or formal security screening.
Travelers reaching Jabor and other parts of the atoll generally use prearranged road transfers or local vehicles, with boats used for onward travel across the lagoon. Facilities remain simple, so visitors should confirm schedules and transport arrangements in advance.
Despite its small size, Jaluit Airport remains an important domestic link for travel between the southern atolls and Majuro.
