Indagen Airport (IDN) is a remote domestic airstrip serving Indagen, a small highland community in Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea. Situated at about 5,788 feet in the rugged Saruwaged Range of the Huon Peninsula, the airstrip functions as a vital air link for a region with very limited road access.
Flights are operated mainly by mission aviation and charter organizations, using light aircraft such as the Twin Otter and Cessna Caravan. The single unpaved runway, designated 09/27 and measuring approximately 518 metres, is suited to short take-off and landing operations and connects the community with regional hubs such as Lae.
The airstrip has no formal terminal building or commercial amenities. Travelers wait in basic shaded areas near the runway and should bring their own supplies, as there are no shops, restaurants, banking facilities or public transport services at the airport.
